Researcher in Pharmacometry with a Focus on Global Health
The Department of Pharmacy (IFF) at Uppsala University has an interdisciplinary environment that is central to the pharmaceutical field.

Would you like to work with pharmacometry focusing on global health with the support of competent and friendly colleagues in an international environment? Welcome to apply for a position as a researcher at the Department of Pharmacy, Uppsala University.
Diseases such as tuberculosis, HIV, and malaria claim millions of lives each year, primarily in low- and middle-income countries. The Pharmacometry for Global Health research group uses pharmacometric methods to develop new drugs and optimize treatments for these infectious diseases. We are part of the larger Unit for Pharmacometry, which is leading in method development and application of innovative models.
Job Responsibilities
The role will work on a project focused on meta-analysis of microbiological data from clinical studies. The goal is to develop an optimized and standardized analysis model to improve statistical power to discern drug effects and enable comparisons between studies.
Qualifications
PhD degree. Strong technical knowledge in pharmacometry. Solid experience with programs such as R and NONMEM. Good communication skills in spoken and written English. A strong desire to contribute positively to tuberculosis research.
Desirable/meritorious
Specific experience in analyzing microbiological data from tuberculosis drug studies. Experience working in international collaborations.
About the Position
The position is temporary, 10-12 months. The extent is full-time. Start date is February 16, 2026, or by agreement. Location: Uppsala, Biomedical Center.
